That's a sorry excuse for a qualifying run. I've grown out of watching us run in the back. I'm not ready to go back to it

I agree 21Rulz, we definitely need to get back to Pre-Charlotte days. I hope the 21 team is a group of early birds. 2nd Practice on Saturday @ 8:30 cst.

So where are we starting Sunday? Like 41st instead of 43rd lol. We better have a productive practice tomorrow! I'm glad we made it though...obviously.

Starting 39th, per NASCAR.com.

I got 43rd dead last as of 7pm tonight. What is going on with this team guys. They were knocking off great runs like it was nothing than Bill got hurt and ever
since he came back everything has been off. Lowe's was explained with transmission and engine changes...Not sure what to think about this deal...

Okay, at the end, I thought we were 41st??

You were right Dameon, they have updated it...43rd. IDK why we are having to use it though? We beat at least 4 GOGH cars.

The car's performance isn't what the team had hoped as it continues to try new setups in preparation for the 2010 season. As team co-owner Eddie Wood
noted, "We can't get better if we don't try new things."
With two practices scheduled for tomorrow, David Hyder and the #21 crew will work hard to improve the car's performance. |

I think we learned these "new things" didn't work at Charlotte. I am wondering if these new things are so radical and different that they have
completely redone the cars....

AND there is no way Bill used a PCP. He was faster than four GOGH cars. It's not that big of a deal in positions, but he did not need that PCP to make the
race. That's important to note. I hate it when he has to use that thing and I hate it when other people think he needs it. He dosen't, and he
didn't need it to make this race. His time was simply enough to get in

Bill clearly stated before qualifying that they took a big swing. They have been working on a new setup because the old one never allowed their car to take
off. Looks like their out-to-lunch a bit and it definately didnt help that Bill got hurt. They missed some valuable 1 1/2 mile track time by Bill missing
Atlanta. I like that they moved away from the old setup and will take the lumps that come with finding something that has the chance of being fast throughtout
a run.

I agree, as long as Bill is aboard it's cool. But, I'm just afraid Bill is going to get discouraged by these bad runs late in the season and not want
to come back next year. I guess we will wait and see

well if hyder is going back to bam racing then i would think his interest is perty much somewhere else . so im not blaming hyder but ........what do you guys
think ?

Well of course as soon as I get down on the team that post the 5th fastst lap during Happy Hour and average lap times that were as good as the 4th place car.
Though I'd be curious to see how good Johnson's average lap speeds are because his cars suck on long green runs. We could see our man come through the
field Rockingham style tomorrow...I sure would love a top 10 finish...

Awesome to hear Dameon. But the real question is: is this the old setup or have they finally figured something out on the new one?
