If you look at Bill's new website and look at the pictures that scrolling through on the homepage there is a picture of the engine in the car at Texas this
past weekend. To me it looks just like the FR9. So I would bet good money they had it in there this past weekend.

Hey guys I noticed something interesting. During Daytona the Woods were being very protective of their car in the garage. During the Duels Elliott had a
problem in transmission/shift. No one thought much of this at the time. Now since Charlotte Elliott has had two more transmission/shifter along with vibration
problems. Word is if you use the FR9 you have to do some heavy reconfiguring on things inside the car. My guess...the Woods have received two beta version
engines of the FR9 (Daytona and Charlotte) and used the real deal at Texas. My guess is they are taking liberties with the reconfiguration to save money and it
has bit them in the rear. I'm not engine/chasis expert but it certainly is funny that Elliott had great power at Daytona (prior to the problem) and then at
the Bank of America 500 Elliott was really getting around the track a few times. You could tell the car was up on power but not quite right. Anyways if they
are using the FR9 it has yielded worst results than the old engine...

Roush-Yates has not announced any use of the FR9 by the Wood Bros - which is not to say it has not happened anyway.
