It was announced today that BGM owner bluetaurus6, driver of the #27 Pontiac, will run a special Pontiac Tribute/Pontiac Trans Am 40th Anniversary paint
scheme at Talladega. The car will bear the Pontiac logo and adorn the famous Firebird on the hood of the car. This scheme will run in tribute to the Pontiac
brand, which has been a mainstay in the American auto idustry since 1926, but unfortunately will be dissolved in 2010. It also commemorates the Pontiac Trans
Am, a popular American muscle car in production from 1969 to 2002, featured in the movie "Smoky and the Bandit." Bluegrass Motorsports had a
multi-year agreement with Pontiac that began this season, but the two entities mutually agreed to part ways after it was decided that the Pontiac brand would
