The ending to todays race sucked. There is no way a guy who brings out the last caution should benefit from that and win the race. What makes me even
madder is that David Reuttiman finishes 4th. He is the luckiest driver I have ever seen. If Kahne and the 9 bunch would have any kind of luck he would be
much higher than 13th in the standings. Kahne has outrun Reutimann at Charlotte(rain), Pocono(fuel), Michigan(fuel), and New Hampshire(rain), yet finished

I hope like heck that Kasey leaves RPM asap. RPM is a complete joke. Ever since Ray lost interest in this team they have gone downhill. The merger with
Petty was nothing more than a publicity stunt in order to get the Petty name, which honestly doesn't mean much anymore. Kasey is stuck with an
organization that has no interest in winning, no other competent drivers to share notes with, and the worst race strategies/luck in the entire series.

Well, Kahne is supposed to be running the new engine this weekend but it sure doesn't look like it in practice. Based on lap by lap progress, the car was a
real slug off the truck and they finally found a little speed later in practice. Kasey has run a couple qualifying laps and the car is still far behind the top
speeds posted. I don't think he's holding back because he normally only makes one qualifying run in practice. This will be a make or break race for the

I'm sure everyone has heard about the 9 employees being layed off at RPM this week and the ramblings of Richard Petty about payments from Chrysler being
cut off. This is happening at RPM even though Penske Racing supposedly continues to receive cash support from Chrysler. Well, there seems to be some underlying
factors behind this. First, Penske has three years remaining on their contract with Chrysler while RPM is in it's final year. Second, RPM made serious bids

the finish line. I feel the team really needs to win a race or two here in the next couple of weeks to give them a real legitimate chance at the chase. I think
here at Dover, Michigan, Chicago, and Indy that they should be a threat with the new engine. All the RPM cars are starting top 10 as well Sunday. Seems like

Kahne ended up back by the Childress cars and never was a factor. I read rumors that they were bringing a new package for these races. Amazing how things have
changed, for the worse, since last year at Charlotte. It's also amazing how Mikey Waltrip Racing can pickup some outcasts from RPM and show major

instead of two halfway through the race. The longer pitstop left the 9 car stuck in lapped traffic on the restart and the resulting front end damage pretty
much ended the race for them. Track position at Darlington has become even more important with this new car and it was obvious all night. Getting through

drivers with more competitive equipment. He complained that their cars are too heavy and the engines are weak. He told them that he's had the same

under powered, won't turn and way too loose off the corners. And this year, they can't seem to make the car better during the race. The RPM

Dodge is no longer building parts for the old engine - so at some point RPM will be forced to switch. RPM wanted to wait and see if Dodge would be back to
